The Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts (GAMTA) offers a range of courses from part-time to full-time, from classes for leisure, to specialist, professional-level diplomas. It is the leading independent musical theatre training establishment in Scotland and has been producing highly successful and versatile theatrical performers since 1994, many graduates work not only in the UK but across Europe and the USA. They offer a variety of classes for children, specialist courses for school students and professional courses.
Their extensive, three-year Musical Theatre Professional Training Diploma Course covers every aspect of training required for today's competitive Theatre Industry and furthermore, students are presented to agents, casting directors and leading producers in their 3rd year at a London West End theatre venue in preparation for their entry into the industry.
In addition to full-time courses, GAMTA has a range of very well established part-time courses for younger students who have not yet left school, but have a desire to start training for a career in Musical Theatre.
