Glasgow Chamber Choir was founded in 1994 and has developed into one of Scotland's finest amateur choirs. The choir performs a wide repertoire, spanning the Rennaissance to the present day, performing world premieres as part of the four or five concerts they present each year.
Performances take place in churches and halls throughout the city, and in other towns and cities across Scotland. The eclectic membership of around 30 singers is drawn from across the city and includes singers both young and not-so-young.
The current musical director is Michael Bawtree, and membership to the choir is by audition.
