Glasgow Cathedral Choral Society

Founded in 1938 and active ever since, the members of the Glasgow Cathedral Choral Society come from all parts of the city and beyond.

They give three concerts each year in the Cathedral: one before Christmas, usually a performance of Messiah, and the season's main concert in April or May, with professional soloists and orchestra.

Additional events typically include recitals in other parts of the city: in recent years the choir has been to Perth, Millport, St Andrews, Dunkeld, Cleish, Callander, Lamlash, Langholm and Ayr to perform
