Piping Live! is a week-long piping event that makes Glasgow the centre of the world stage for piping excellence. It's exciting and challenging, traditional and contemporary; and very much alive.
The festival aims to showcase the experimental energy of today’s newest talent, as well as the accomplishment of established musicians from across the globe. There is something going on morning, noon and night in venues across the city. The venues (including George Sqaure, RCS, CCA, The National Piping Centre and the Old Fruitmarket), are as varied as the performers - from workshops to masterclasses, ceilidhs to concerts and street performances.
