The Kelvin Choir is a 40-strong ensemble based in Bearsden, in the north of Glasgow. It is a non-auditioned choir and aims to give anyone who has ever wanted to sing, the chance to join a choir and be involved in concerts and musical events. Whilst it sees itself as less formal than a run-of-the-mill choir, it also includes some training in sight-reading, breathing and voice training in the subscription.
It was initially established as a training choir for the established Bearsden Choir, in 2005, but has come in to its own as a performing ensemble.
