New Rhythms For Glasgow is a community music project and registered charity that aims to promote community engagement and social inclusion through the performing arts. We offer a wide range of activities and services for people of all ages to participate in, including accredited courses into the creative industries, music and community issue based workshops, events, recording projects, volunteering and much more.

The project was set up in 1998 by local people in Royston who realised the potential benefits that music could bring to the community. Since then the project has worked with families, young people, disabilities groups, minority groups, addictions services,    and individuals to encourage music skills and interests, learning and growth, and create a supportive environment for cultural and creative industries to develop within the North Glasgow area.

The centre facilities include a rehearsal/workshop space and fully equipped recording studio, 24-track control room using ProTools and Reason and live room/vocal booth available for commercial use at competitive rates. Special/ assisted rates are available for qualifying low income/unemployed persons. As a social enterprise, all income from room/equipment hire is used to finance projects for disadvantage groups in the area.
