The Alliance Française de Glasgow is part of the worldwide network of Alliance Française, which promotes French language and culture. It is housed in the same building as the Goethe-Institut in the prestigious Park Circus and runs language classes for all levels and ages as well as offers a wide range of social and cultural activities mostly in collaboration with local cultural bodies. Recent musical events included a series of concert recitals from RSC singers as part of the RSNO’s La Vie Parisienne French music festival. The Alliance Française receives some direct and indirect support from the French Foreign Office.
