Arika exists to see more people engage with and experience live underground and experimental music, performance and visual art more often and in more places across Scotland and throughout the UK.

The group has worked with venues and organisations such as Tramway to produce the Instal festival, one of the UK's most important events for new and avant-garde music. Arika also collaborates with other organisations and venues such as the Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) and the Arches.
