The Cathouse was established in 1990 on Brown Street, moving to its present - more central and larger location - on Union Street, to meet the demand of Glasgow's ever-increasing rock and alternative lifestyle fan base.
For 16 years a consistent and unique relationship has existed between the club and its customers, the venue and its gig goers, who are loyally dedicated and return week after week. It has hosted thousands of bands, including Pearl Jam, and Oasis and has become a trademark destination for those who live a ' rock n roll' lifestyle.
