Music City Radio- Month of May

Hi everyone,

The month of May is upon us here at Music City Radio and we’re proud to bring you all the new sounds from bands you already love and ones that eagerly await your discovery. As some of you may know, Stag & Dagger Festival is approaching on the 21^st May, Tune in Wednesdays 5-6pm to hear some of the Scottish talent playing including; Sons and Daughters, Veronica Falls, Admiral Fallow, Broken Records and Wake The President.

Also this month, we are pleased to announce a show dedicated to the up-coming Glasgow Jazz Festival. We’ll be previewing some home-bred and legendary acts playing at the world renowned event from 29^th June to 3^rd July including Michael Legrand, Ken Mathieson and The Scottish National Jazz Orchestra.

Our drop-box, once again has been eagerly received and we have collected the hot-bed of Glasgow’s new music including The Wayne Devro Set, Ciaran McIlwham, Numbercult, Southern Remedy, Belmondo, Broken Alphas, Paul Mclinden, Dirtyface, Randolph’s Leap, Bad Mcnulty and The Son.

Alongside the new talent we’re featuring the new release from labels such as the new Franz Ferdinand Covers EP on Domino, Rm Hubbert on Chemikal Underground and The new Soma release: ‘Soma Coma 5’.
