Posted: Tuesday 7 June 2011

“La fête de la musique” is a long established tradition in France taking place on the 21st of June. Every music maker, amateur or professional, comes out onto the streets, the squares, the cafés to play or sing for free.

The Alliance Française de Glasgow has been following this tradition for 7 years, organizing concerts and other activities in partnership with Glaswegian institutions including Glasgow City Council, alpa and the West End Festival. Here is the program for 2011: free gigs, open concerts and movie-concert are au rendez-vous!
